Dr. Kennon Andy Lattal is Centennial Professor of Psychology at West Virginia University (WVU). He has written 140 articles and chapters on various topics in behavior analysis, and edited seven books and journal special issues, including the American Psychological Association's (APA's) tribute to B. F. Skinner. He has mentored 40 doctoral students and every faculty member of WVU's behavior analysis program since 1982. A former president and committee member of many behavior analysis organizations, including ABAI and SABA, Dr. Lattal has also served on the boards of eight journals, and is a former editor of the Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior. He has received awards from WVU, APA's Division 2 (Teaching of Psychology), and ABAI. In addition to his named professorship, WVU recognized his work with its Benedum Distinguished Scholar Award, and APA's Division 25 (Behavior Analysis) gave him its Distinguished Contributions to Basic Research Award. He has taught and conducted research at universities in the US and elsewhere, culminating in spending the 2011–2012 academic year in France as a Fulbright scholar.
