2020: PAXIS Institute

Founded in 1998 in Tucson, Arizona, PAXIS Institute is an international prevention science company focused on population-level interventions. PAXIS seeks to identify tools and strategies that have both rapid and long-term benefits. Its efforts have affected more than a million children in 38 U.S. states, many Canadian provinces, and several EU countries, with multiple studies showing population-level reductions of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders using the Good Behavior Game (GBG) and evidence-based kernels. The GBG at the micro level, plus other efforts, involve selection by consequences to achieve the vision of Baer, Wolf, and Risley (1968).

PAXIS encourages and supports people of every age and every walk of life to be “everyday scientists,” and therefore become conscious creators of their futures.

Dr. Dennis Embry leads PAXIS as president/senior scientist.
