ABA Saudi Arabia

The aim of this project is to translate behavior analytic terminology and literature into Arabic. The grant supported the development of a bank of ABA resources in formal Arabic so that the information may be accessible to all Arabic-speaking individuals interested in behavior analysis. Funds supported Arabic translations of the BACB’s glossaries of behavior analytic terms, Guidelines for Responsible Conduct for Behavior Analysts, and the Fourth Edition Task List. A professional translator from Dar Al-Hekma University was employed to translate the relevant documents, and a taskforce of board certified international bilingual clinicians was recruited to edit the first translation draft. This stage of the project was supervised by Ms. Mona Al-Haddad, BCBA, a lecturer in special education and ABA at Dar Al-Hekma University.
