European ABA
The first conference of the European Association for Behaviour Analysis was held in Parma, Italy, July 22–25, 2003. The International Development Grant was used to subsidize the expenses of invited keynote speakers on behavioral genetics, language, behavioral ecology, and conditioning—fields particularly strong in Europe that have contributed to the strengthening of ties in the behavioral community in the region. A key action in promoting behavior analysis within Europe was the development of links between behavior analysis and allied fields. The effort helped expose the methods and approaches of behavior analysis to wider audiences and led to collaborative work among fields across the region.
